18th February 2023 Wing Boarding: Llanfairfechan Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F6 Surf / Sea State: Chop Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: 7.5 Weather: Cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Joined 5 already out on 4m,windier than it looked and was maxed. A few more joined in. Nasty gusts so let small amount of air out of wing, and some lulls. Sea messy and found gybing hard unless I concentrated. Failed footswaps as I try to be too fast. Starboard toeside got a little better. Did some stinkbug starts and winder if harder or easier on a small board, harder I suspect Getting better at negotiating turbulent waters. Red+blue shims on mast position 9. A couple of windsurfers also out which I would have enjoyed more blasting to sandbank, but want to improve foiling. |
